چکیده
The Eliashberg theory of superconductivity is based on a dynamical electron-phonon interaction as opposed to static present in BCS theory. standard derivation an equation motion approach, which incorporates certain approximations such Migdal's approximation for the pairing vertex. In this paper we provide functional-integral-based and also consider its Gaussian-fluctuation extension. functional approach enables self-consistent method computing mean-field equations, arise saddle-point conditions, here observe that conventional self energy function both appear Hubbard-Stratonovich transformations. An important consequence fact it provides systematic Cooper density-channel interactions Gaussian fluctuation response. We investigate strong-coupling diamagnetic susceptibility near critical temperature.

Functional Integral approach to quasi-particles in Fermi liquid theory
In this paper we propose a new way of organizing many-body perturbation theory in the Path-integral formulation where a set of quasi-particle wavefunctionals ψ’s are introduced and are identified with quasi-particles in Landau Fermi liquid theory. We show how Fermi liquid theory can be obtained through ψ’s in this new framework of perturbation theory, where the only assumption is adiabaticity b...
متن کاملFunctional Integral Approach to Disordered Bosons
The appearance of coherence and order is studied for ultracold bosonic atoms in the presence of additional disorder potentials. These arise either naturally like in current carrying wire traps, or artificially and controllably like in laser speckle fields. The description of such disordered bosons within a suitably generalized Bogoliubov theory, first given by Huang and Meng, is rederived here ...
متن کاملPath Integral Density Functional Theory
A new method ( PI-DFT ) which combines path integrals and density functional theory is proposed as a pathway to many fields of physics. Within path integral theory it is possible to construct particle densities without explicitly calculating individual wave functions. These densities can directly be used as an input to energy density functionals. Thus our method makes full use of the theorem of...
متن کاملConvergence of an Approach for Solving Fredholm Functional Integral Equations
In this work, we give a product Nyström method for solving a Fredholm functional integral equation (FIE) of the second kind. With this method solving FIE reduce to solving an algebraic system of equations. Then we use some theorems to prove the existence and uniqueness of the system. Finally we investigate the convergence of the method.
متن کاملGaussian density fluctuations , mode coupling theory , and all that
– We consider a toy model for glassy dynamics of colloidal suspensions: a single Brownian particle diffusing among immobile obstacles. If Gaussian factorization of static density fluctuations is assumed, this model can be solved without factorization approximation for any dynamic correlation function. The solution differs from that obtained from the ideal mode coupling theory (MCT). The latter ...
